Where do you get the self clinching standoffs from China ?

We are offering of fasteners, and self-clinching standoffs, both through-hole and blind types, are essential components in various industries and applications.

Ensuring the quality, specification and reliability of the products we offer

Self-clinching standoffs are fasteners used in sheet metal applications to create a permanent and threaded attachment point.

These standoffs are designed to be installed in thin metal sheets, typically through a process known as clinching, which is a cold-forming method.

Installation: To install a self-clinching standoff, a precise hole is punched or drilled into the metal sheet. The standoff is then inserted into the hole.

Clinching Process: The clinching process involves applying force to the standoff, causing the metal sheet to deform and flow into the standoff's serrations or knurls.

This creates a strong, permanent, and flush attachment.

Result: The metal sheet is now securely fastened to the standoff, providing a threaded insert for additional components or attachments.

Self-clinching standoffs are commonly used in electronic and electromechanical assemblies, where space is limited, and the ability to have a secure

threaded connection in a thin sheet is essential. They are often employed in applications such as PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), chassis, and enclosures.

These standoffs offer advantages such as ease of installation, high strength, and resistance to vibration. They eliminate the need for additional nuts or

threaded inserts and provide a reliable and cost-effective solution for creating secure connections in sheet metal assemblies.

Self-clinching standoffs come in two main types: through-hole (TH) and blind (BL) standoffs. The primary difference between these two types lies

in the design of the threaded hole.

Both through-hole and blind standoffs use the same basic principle of clinching during installation. The choice between through-hole and

blind standoffs depends on the specific requirements of the application, including the desired characteristics of the

final assembly and the available access to the workpiece.
